Congratulations to Sarah Hosking PhD FAICD who has been appointed the new Chief Executive Officer of Cancer Council NSW.
Sarah has a proven track record in business start-up, turnaround, development and change management and extensive knowledge of private and government, primary and acute health sectors across a broad range of disciplines, with special interest in cancer, paediatric palliative care and the vision community, nationally and internationally.
Sarah was Winner of the 2020 Telstra Business Woman of the Year for NSW For Purpose and Social Impact. She is a leader with inspired vision, boundless drive, enthusiasm and determination. Sarah previously led the National Breast Cancer Foundation since 2016, during which time she oversaw substantial growth and innovation in their breast cancer research mission, with the NBCF winning multiple awards including the FIA’s NSW Fundraising Organisation of the Year and Your Voice Survey’s Employer of Choice on multiple occasions.
