Bel is known for being a highly collaborative, strategic and solutions-focused, empathetic and commercial partner.

Prior to joining Hourigan International, Bel was a Communications Professional with 15+ years experience successfully managing big, complex brands at some of the world’s most successful and creatively awarded agencies and thrived in a creative, solutions-focused environment.

Bel brings a high degree of emotional intelligence, empathy, unrivalled organisational skills and good humour, along with the ability to build and maintain healthy and productive external and internal relationships. This, coupled with being commercially minded, afforded her the opportunity to lead some of the country’s most coveted accounts.

Bel cut her teeth on some of the world’s biggest brands (Nestle, Coca-Cola), developing Australian & NZ born brands to be truly world class by implementing real and meaningful communications solutions (Tourism Australia, Bankwest, Air New Zealand), and to work within the Private Equity space to develop successful organisations and brands from the ground up (Potentia, Ascender).

Interacting with people, cultures and animals of the world really excites her. By the age of 30, she had travelled to every continent – from kayaking in Antarctica to interacting with gorillas in Rwanda to cycling through Colombia to experiencing the cultural delights of Cuba.

Bel grew up in regional NSW but now lives in Sydney’s beautiful Eastern Suburbs with her husband, Labrador and two young daughters.
